Ingredients
  

  • 1 bag Of frozen tater tots (16-ounce)
  • 1 cup Shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices Meat, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • Two tsp Of freshly chopped fresh chives or green onions
  • Cooking spray

Instructions
 

Preheat and Prepare:

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Grease a tiny muffin tray with cooking spray.

Arrange Tater Tots:

  • Place 3 to 4 frozen tater tots into each cup of the prepared muffin tin.

Initial Baking:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes to soften the tater tots.

Form Cups:

  • Remove the muffin tin from the oven.
  • Using the bottom of a shot glass or a similar tool, press down on the tater tots in each muffin cup to form a cup shape.

Crisp the Cups:

  • Return the muffin tin to the oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the tater tot cups are golden brown and crispy.

Add Cheese:

  • Remove the muffin tin from the oven.
  • Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese into each tater tot cup.

Melt Cheese:

  • Place the muffin tin back in the oven for about 3 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

Add Toppings:

  • Carefully remove the tater tot cups from the muffin tin and place them on a serving platter.
  • Top each cup with a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of crumbled Meat, and a garnish of chopped chives or green onions.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the meet and consider adding sautéed vegetables or a meat substitute.
  • Feel free to customize the toppings to your liking; options include diced tomatoes, jalapeños, or a drizzle of ranch dressing.
  • To make ahead, prepare the tater tot cups through step 7, then reheat and add toppings just before serving.
