These sophisticated and simple smoked salmon canapes with a creamy spread and fresh herbs make a delicious appetizer at parties and get-togethers.

- 12 Small crackers or slices of baguette (toasted)
- 6 oz Smoked salmon, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup Cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Capers, drained
- Fresh dill, for garnish
- 1/2 Cucumber, thinly sliced
- Salt and pepper
Combine the cream cheese, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper in a small bowl and stir until well combined.
Spread a layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each cracker or baguette slice.
Top with a piece of smoked salmon.
Garnish with capers, a small slice of cucumber (if using), and a sprig of fresh dill.
You can serve it right away or chill it for up to an hour.
