Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Chicken broth
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 cup Low sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Dark chili powder
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Dried oregano

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, add all of the spices and whisk until equally distributed.
  • Pour chicken stock into the slow cooker, then add the chicken breasts. Pour half of the seasoning over the chicken, then turn and sprinkle the remaining seasoning on top.
  • Put the lid on the slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours.
  • When ready, use tongs to remove the chicken and lay it on a cutting board. Use two forks to shred the chicken breasts. Return the shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix in the remaining liquid. Use right away or keep in an airtight container for up to one week.
