Garlic Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces Spaghetti or linguine
  • 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tbsp Red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup Chopped parsley
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Temperature the olive oil in a large pan over a medium-high temperature. After adding the red pepper flakes and garlic, sauté them until aromatic.
  • Add shrimp, cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in lemon juice, let simmer for 2 minutes.
  • Add the cooked pasta and add salt & pepper to taste. Mix well.
  • Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
