- 8 ounces Spaghetti or linguine
- 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 4 Cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tbsp Red pepper flakes
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup Chopped parsley
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Temperature the olive oil in a large pan over a medium-high temperature. After adding the red pepper flakes and garlic, sauté them until aromatic.
Add shrimp, cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice, let simmer for 2 minutes.
Add the cooked pasta and add salt & pepper to taste. Mix well.
Garnish with parsley and Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
