- 4 Chicken thighs
- 4 Chicken drumsticks
- 2 cups Buttermilk
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Marinate chicken: Place the chicken in a bowl, cover with buttermilk, and chill for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Prepare coating: In a large bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Heat 1 inch of oil in a big skillet until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Coat the chicken: Remove it from the buttermilk and let the excess drip off. Dredge in flour mixture, pressing to adhere.
Fry chicken: Fry chicken in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 12-15 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.
