Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tbsp Salt
  • 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1 can Chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Mix butter, sugar, flour, and salt to form a dough.
  • Press dough into a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
  • In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter; boil until thickened.
  • Pour caramel over baked shortbread and let cool.
  • Melt chocolate chips and spread over caramel layer.
  • Chill until set and cut into squares.
