- 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/4 tbsp Salt
- 1 can Sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 can Chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix butter, sugar, flour, and salt to form a dough.
Press dough into a baking pan and bake for 20 minutes.
In a saucepan, combine condensed milk, brown sugar, and butter; boil until thickened.
Pour caramel over baked shortbread and let cool.
Melt chocolate chips and spread over caramel layer.
Chill until set and cut into squares.
