Brookies are the ultimate mash-up of rich, fudgy brownies and soft, chewy cookies. This easy recipe combines two favorite treats into one, creating the perfect dessert for any occasion.

For the Brownie Layer:
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/4 tbsp Salt
- 1/4 tbsp Baking powder
For the Cookie Layer:
- 1/2 cup Unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup Brown sugar
- 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 Large egg
- 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Baking soda
- 1/4 Salt
- 1 cup Chocolate chips
Prepare the Brownie Layer:
Beat the sugar and melted butter together in a bowl until smooth.
Whisk in the vanilla essence and eggs until creamy.
Add baking powder, flour, salt, and cocoa powder and sift. Mix until just combined.
Evenly distribute the brownie batter in the baking pan that has been prepared.
Prepare the Cookie Layer:
In another bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Salt, baking soda, and flour should be added gradually and mixed in.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Assemble and Bake:
Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough on top of the brownie layer and gently spread to create an even layer.
A toothpick inserted in the center should come out with a few moist crumbs after 20 to 25 minutes of baking in a preheated oven.
