  • 2 packages (14 oz each) smoked sausage
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • Prepare Sausage: Slice the smoked sausage into 1-inch thick pieces.
  • Combine Ingredients: In the prepared baking dish, mix together the sliced sausage, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard until the sausage pieces are well coated.
  • Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure even cooking and coating. The sauce should become bubbly, darker in color, and slightly thickened.
  • Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with toothpicks as an appetizer.
